  Starlite Invited to Participate in Entrepreneur Salon of Zhoushi Town

  Zhoushi Town’s Symposium of Concentration on Promoting Development and Enterprise Salon on the 50th Anniversary of Normalization of Sino-Japanese Diplomatic Relations was held in Minqi Commercial Building of Zhoushi Town at 14:00PM, September 29, 2022. Starlite was invited to attend the Salon as the first Japanese invested enterprise in the town. The Company’s general manager as the representative of Japanese enterprises delivered a speech at the meeting, expressing that the 50th Anniversary of Normalization of Sino-Japanese Diplomatic Relations was a day well worth celebrating. In the past 50 years, the trade volume between China and Japan has grown to 391.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2021 from 1.1 billion U.S. dollars in 1972, an increase of 356 times. This brings wellbeing to people of both counties. Starlite Plastic Products (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. is the most important business entity of the Starlite group.   Exhibition Report on 8th CAPAS Chengdu

  The 8th Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services (CAPAS) was held at Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition & Convention Center from August 18 to 20, 2022. Focusing on the “Two Carbon” goal, the exhibition had seven featured-product areas set, such as “Chengdu-Chongqing Shuangcheng Economic Circle”, “New Energy Smart Networking (inclusive of New Energy Vehicles)”, “Parts Procurement and Pairing”, “Warranty/Supply Chain and Terminal Chain Store”, “Supplies and Modification”, “Tire” and “Commercial Vehicles (Smart Logistics and Transport Vehicles)”. This was the first exhibition attendance of Fine Chemical Department this year. The Company displayed various auto parts as required by the exhibition, especially some gear parts used in new energy motor vehicles, air-conditioning compressor parts, electrical contact parts and products made of Starlite self-developed friction materials, among others. They were all recognized by customers. During the exhibition, we received a total of approximately 26 enterprises, of which 12 had the intention of further contacting and communicating.   Forth Summer Festival Held at Starlite

  2022 Employee Traffic Safety Knowledge

  Traffic safety education and learning campaign for all employees was implemented in July in a move to strengthen the employees’ safety awareness when commuting between the factory site and their home. This traffic safety education was conducted by separating employees into three batches. A police officer of the Zhoushi Traffic Police Squadron was specially invited to give an explanation of traffic-safety related things. He explained the difference between the swept paths of inner wheels when a truck is turning, the driver’s blind spot and the rider’s blind spot, and shared the real cases that happened around us. Each case was broken down in details, and the main reasons for each accident were found out, so that everyone could learn something from these examples for getting inspiration in their future outgoing. Through this study, all people understand that as a traffic participant, we must abide by traffic laws and regulations, cross the road only at zebra crossings, do not go when in red lights, always pay attention to the surrounding environment at intersections, and fasten the seat belt regardless of whether in the front or rear row when driving / taking a car, so as to take the initiative to command the traffic safety in own hands.   Resumption of Work and Production in A Closed-loop Manner

  Shanghai’s epidemic spread to Kunshan starting from April 2 this year. Kunshan was forced to enter a period of silence, which means that the “pause button” for all the enterprises, entertainment venues and motor vehicle traffics was pressed down starting from April 3, 2022. During this period, the Company maintained active communication with the local government to master the latest information and obtained the qualification for shipment in a fastest speed on April 14. Some of our customers could pick up goods for their shipments. At the same time, after various negotiations, on April 20 the Company finally obtained the first batch of approvals for closed-loop resumption of work and production in Kunshan City on the basis of making an emergency response plan for epidemic prevention. And only employees lived in the Zhoushi area were allowed to resume work in a closed-loop manner. According to the business requirements, finally a total of 204 employees actively responded to the Company’s call for resumption of work and production by bring their luggage to the factory dormitory to start the work and production resumption on April 21. During the closed-loop resumption of work and production, the senior officers were accommodated together with employees in the factory, and they led the employees to actively participate in production under the situation that there was a serious shortage of personnel and life there was extremely difficult and inconvenient. At the same time, the employees spontaneously organized and used their free time to cut the grass on the lawn and clean the leaves in the Company, in a bid to create a comfortable and clean environment for everyone as far as possible. All the employees were united as one, preventing and fighting against the epidemic together!   Donation of Epidemic Prevention Materials

  Celebration of New Year 2022

  Company Policy Release Meeting 2022 Convened

  Sixth Rope Jumping Competition

  The sixth rope jumping competition of Starlite was held on November 26, 2021 on the south of the warehouse of fine chemical logistics. A total of six teams participated: four teams from the Fine Chemical Dept.; one team from High Performance Product Dept.; one team from Common Dept. The competition process was very intense and exciting. The “Super Invincible” team of the High Performance won the first place overwhelmingly with a total of 44 continuous jumps, followed by the “Create Brilliance Again” team of the Fine Chemical with the result of 32 jumps. What made the competition more wonderful was that the third place had to be decided by an extra PK (player killing) between the “Climb the Peak” team of the Fine Chemical and the “Strive for Progress” team of the common department, both of which attained 30 jumps within the normal competition time. The competition between the two teams was also a wonderful highlight of this competition. First, the gestures of “stone, scissors and cloth” was played to determine which team to jump first. As a result, the “C limb the Peak” team jumped first. Because they consumed too much physical energy in the previous competition, the “Climb the Peak” team lost, and the “Strive for Progress” team won the third place that was not easily achieved.   2021 Small Group Improvement Event Release

  On Tuesday, November 02, 2021, the 2021 Release Meeting of Small Group Improvement Event was held. There was a total of 15 groups participated in this year’s Small Group Improvement Event at the beginning of this year.
